Shania Twain, OC (nascida Eilleen Regina Edwards; Windsor, 28 de agosto de 1965) é uma cantora e compositora canadense de música country e pop. Com 100 milhões de cópias vendidas no mundo todo, tornou-se a mais bem sucedida cantora na história da música country e uma das bem sucedidas artistas de todos os tempos. Seu sucesso lhe garantiu vários títulos incluindo "Primeira-dama do Country e "Rainha do Country Pop". Iniciou sua carreira musical profissional no início da década de 1990, quando assinou o contrato com a gravadora Mercury Records lançando seu primeiro álbum intitulado Shania Twain em 1993, subiu à fama com o álbum de 1995 "The Woman in Me" e obteve grande reconhecimento mundial com o álbum de 1997 Come on Over, que se tornou o álbum mais vendido por uma artista feminina em todos os tempos, e o álbum country mais vendido da história da música. O seu quarto álbum de estúdio intitulado Up! foi lançado em 2002 e até a data vendeu 22 milhões de cópias. Indicada para 18 prémios Grammy sendo vencedora de cinco, Shania Twain obteve grande sucesso ao misturar Country com Pop. alcançou muito sucesso como compositora e como cantora, tendo ganho 27 prémios BMI Songwriter. Ela é a única mulher que possui três Discos de Diamante consecutivos certificado pela RIAA, e três álbuns certificados de Diamante Duplo pela Music Canada. Está entre as artistas que mais venderam discos em todos os tempos, com 48 milhões de cópias vendidas só nos Estados Unidos, tornando-se assim a 6ª artista feminina que mais vendeu discos naquele pais, sendo também a segunda maior artista feminina do Canadá (atrás somente de Celine Dion).
